Cost of tailoring a suit.?

ok I would like your opinion on this matter. I recently bought a brand name suit -from a big outlet store--off 5th--and I got it tailored just as I would any other suit. However, after the first alteration, I went back to have the pants recut from double pleated to being single pleated, and I had the jacket tapered in a bit. In all, the alterations for the suit, cost rougly around $110. The suit originally cost 1000, but I only paid 265 after the sales and discounts. So my question is this, Is the price I have paid for the alterations on this suit worth it or too much considering how much I paid for the suit originally?
