Life as a Mounted Gunner............?

I'm 16 years old (will be 17 in August) & I'm currently at college studying Public Services & its getting to that time when I decide whether to do the next level (National Diploma) or get a job. And what's really caught my eye is the Mounted Gunner. I've been riding for over 10 years & have competed successfully at county standard showing, & have my own horse. I am fairly fit (would hope to get fitter with training) & would love a career in the army.......but with horses so this would be a perfect career choice. I was wondering if any one had any information on being a Mounted Gunner? I've looked at the website & would like to know where you stay? i.e. accomodation, how much you earn? what the training is like? can you take your own horse? do you have a desicnated horse to look after? and if anybody has any other info it would be greatly appreciated!
