Shouldn't other places in the world be expecting some kind of garbage crisis like the one in Italy someday?

I've always wondered about garbage. I mean, it gets carted away, but it doesn't just disappear, does it? Lots of stuff isn't even biodegradable, like plastics and styrofoam, which are also too toxic to be burned. And let's be honest: you can't recycle all of it.
